Riding in the rain is more than inhaling copious amounts of petrichor – it is a dramatic adventure. The suspense grips you the moment clouds turn grey and you wonder if your jersey can handle the splish or you need additional support to handle the splash. Once you hit the road, the horror of a car embracing a pothole and gracing you with the muck makes you question your choices. While the drops of heaven wipe the sweat off your face, the few oddball droplets which trickle to unspeakable corners of your body remind you of your ticklish tendencies. By the end of the ride, you are left with an unmemorable muddy artwork and a pile of laundry. But once you have conquered or survived this, your mind and body are ready for pretty much anything in life.
